A couple of weeks ago I was among palm trees for the first time in a couple of decades, and from the first moment I breathed in the air I was taken back to memories of many childhood family vacations. The lush plants, the smell of the air, the warm evenings…it amazes me how seamlessly we can be taken back to another time and place- to the people we were with then, as we share it with the people beside us now. This time, I got to make memories with my own kids, and things felt full circle. So for all of the magic and memories that come with a vacation, I’m remembering the sunset palms.
