Out of Place: Mind Body Land
July 17th to August 16th 2026
We are so delighted to welcome you to our 2nd annual National Juried Art Exhibition; Out of Place: Mind Body Land
Out of Place: Mind Body Land is a National Juried Art Exhibition showcasing Canadian artists exploring the expanded meaning of ‘place’, by exploring the intersecting relationships between mind, body, and land; examining how these relationships are shaped, challenged, or altered through forms of interaction, distance, and attention. We welcomed over 200 submissions and our jury has chosen the final show. We can’t wait to experience this with you.
Artists whom were accepted into the exhibition have have responded in ways that feel meaningful, including reflections on identity, memory, current events, abstraction, or conceptual inquiry. We encouraged artists to approach the theme in a way that felt natural to their own practice, while encouraging them to take this opportunity as a challenge to “break the mold”, experiment, and push boundaries through creation.
